Dave King Response #12 - THE TICKETING POLICY

Recommended Posts

Celtic didn't want us, and carried on merrily merrily on their way with free go's at the CL, why are we giving them a full Stand and denying Rangers fans ST's?

The police will never allow us to surround them.

We've cut the ticket allocations to Hearts and Aberdeen to a thousand tickets, i suppose that would include other clubs too if they can muster a thousands fans?

We will be surrounding all of them them, why would the Tims be the exception to this new rule?

I agree TB, though appreciate many travelling Bears like to follow follow at Parkhead.

For me it would be a small price to pay having fewer seats there in order to keep the tramps away from Ibrox in as many numbers as possible.

This is what I don't get tbh!,the Rangers fans that love to go to the piggery would rather that than Rangers ST holders not getting a seat at Ibrox when we play them!.

The game has changed IMO,since our troubles the BHEASTS have tried to kill us,and are still trying to kill us yet our club is quite happy to turn Rangers fans away from Ibrox to allow this dirty club take a whole stand!,it doesn't sit right with me,if it was to be put to a vote to all ST holders I wonder what the result would be?

Where is the evidence that Police Scotland are telling the club how many ST's they can sell?

Having been part of many meetings between fans groups and the Police, I have a good idea on how they work, and indeed our own security team at the club alongside them.

Don't for one second underestimate the influence and power the police hold over these arrangements. The police believe that by giving a whole stand to them they can control the situation better. If only 1000 tickets given, they believe many more would try to get in the wrong end and this horrifies them. It is also not as easy to cordon off a route to/from the corner entrance for 1000 fans as it is for the whole Broomie. I have been over this many times with them before we went down.

There are also the financial quid pro quo with each side charging around double the price for an away ticket to take into consideration, and also the atmosphere as a sellable asset to to audiences when a large away crowd is in place.

Now is the perfect opportunity for Club1872 to prove its independence from the club.

I think Club1872 should run a poll at the very least!,saying that the club should also do that with all ST holders
