Personally I don't see the point in going to America to train and play 1 game. I could see it if it was for American supporters but 1 game in 1 town doesn't help that much. Warburton says he would rather train than be in the league cup so why trip all the way to the states and miss a couple of days training. Unless it is a money motivated thing.

ian ... a suggestion: It would be good - that instead of only posting the links - to also include a headline and possible the opening paragraph. People using smartphones would more likely be interested to read a little on the topic before clisking a new link (which eats up data volume, time and all ;-) E.g., ...

 

Gers In The States: 1928 #2

 

RANGERS travelled to America this morning for a ten day training camp followed by a match against Charleston Battery in South Carolina.

 

Throughout the history of the club, the Light Blues have travelled to America on many different occassions and across the next couple of weeks, we are going to be remembering those trips across the pond in a series of articles.
