Creag Robertson Joins Rangers

Recommended Posts

Falkirk’s Football Club Development Manager, Creag Robertson, is moving to a new role with Rangers as Head of Academy Football Business and Education.

Creag has had a highly-impressive seven years with Falkirk after joining Falkirk Football Academy part-time while he completed a Masters degree in Sports Management at the University of Stirling. After graduating, he moved to a full-time position running the Academy, and this role widened with the formation of the Forth Valley Academy. He became Football Development Manager at the Club eighteen months ago, retaining his involvement in the Academy but charged with the development of the Falkirk FC squad.

Ronnie Bateman, Director and Chief Executive, said: “We are disappointed to be losing Creag, but pleased for him that he is moving to a bigger job. He has made an outstanding contribution to the Academy and to the development of our squad and we’re not surprised that this work has been noticed. He has represented the Club in national discussions on the future of youth football and is highly respected within the Club. Falkirk is recognised as a good Club for finding, encouraging and developing young talent and we understand that people must move on to further their careers.”

Creag added: “I am genuinely sad to be leaving Falkirk and I will always value my time here. Joining Rangers at this time will be a big challenge, but it is also a big opportunity.
