Mark Warburton set to stay at Rangers despite contract talks collapse

Recommended Posts

I'd be very surprised indeed if there wasn't a clause in MW's contract in which his salary increased upon promotion. That was last season's no1 objective which was achieved.

For the record I also think DK (or SR.) would be perfectly entitled to ask MW about the finish to last season in which we won only one out of our last half dozen or so games including the SC final which cost us a EL place

The finish is more or less easy to explain it is only human nature,by choice or whatever, to take the foot off the gas when something is won.

In a way I am glad we did not make Europe as a new team has to be built and we don't want the annual embarrassment of the manky mob in failing to qualify to insuperior teams, but still gutted at capitulation in cup.

Press or whoever at mickey taking re MW.

As our admin over on the German board wrote with regards to the article: "It seems to be Sunday again ..."

BTW, wouldn't be surprised if this was some sort of retaliation article to keep our mouths shut ... after Barton kept Collymore and Brown in their places. But I don't even consider to waste more life energy on this ...
