Craig Whyte will stand trial alone on Rangers fraud charges (adjourned to 29th July)

Actually that tweet might be bait, because charges were dropped previously weren't they against Grier & Whithey?

They were due in court today also but prior agreement may have been reached on that.

According to SoS:

Whyte's senior counsel resigns

Due to charges of others being dropped other charges need amendment

He can't plea either way due to uncertainty of amended charges

It's a nice day. The judge obviously feels his time is better spent in his back garden or on the golf course

To be fair it was still a preliminary hearing.

No word if/when the full trial will go ahead.

There can't be a conspiracy to commit fraud if there is only one person charged.

Not sure if HMA have reserved right to open up new charges after today's events. They had previously IIRC.

With everything starting to look good with the club - I really just want this whole saga put to bed so we can move forward.

I think we're still some distance from that unfortunately... :(
