To be fair, it possibly does for Hibs, given none of the Hibs fans have seen the lift the cup in their lifetime.

 

It doesn't for us, as promotion was far more important.

 

I would contend for their fans only. The Club itself should be looking at promotion as top priority. Sadly they don't seem to be too smart as they were happy Killie won yesterday. They would prefer to contend promotion against a Falkirk team that had the better of them this season and are stable, rather than Killie who would undoubtedly had to have downsized considerably had they been relegated.

For them it's a bit like us winning the Europa Cup.

 

Many of us would have preferred to win that and lose the league when we got to the final, than the other way around, given the choice, due to the rarity of the former. Unfortunately, we won neither for well documented reasons.
