Rangers set for Spurs clash ahead of Scottish Cup final showdown

Recommended Posts

RANGERS will warm-up for their shot at Scottish Cup glory with a bounce game against Tottenham next month.

Mark Warburton’s side have a three week break between their final league fixture of the campaign against St Mirren on Sunday and their Hampden showdown with Hibernian on May 21.

It has left the Gers boss with a problem to solve as he looks to ensure his players are in the right shape mentally and physically as they bid for a third medal this term.

Warburton will give the Light Blues a couple of days off after they face the Saints before attentions at Murray Park turn to the final.

Rangers played a pre-season friendly with Spurs at their Enfield base and will now return south of the border to gear up for the cup clash, with the likes of Martyn Waghorn and Harry Forrester set to feature if possible as they continue on the road to recovery after knee and leg injuries respectively.
