The Summer Transfer Rumour Round-up Thread

Recommended Posts

I like Dorrans but it begs the question: where would he fit in? We play a 4.3.3. system and he generally plays as one of 2 holding mids. Can't see MW changing his system for the players. Barton and Dorrans together would be fantastic but don't think he could play on his own like Ball, he has attacking instincts.

Doubt we'll get or even want both Barton and Dorrans.

Isaiah Jay "Izzy" Brown[5][6][7] (born 7 January 1997) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward or a winger for Chelsea. Brown played for West Bromwich Albion's academy and under-21 teams before making his senior debut in 2013. Since signing for Chelsea, he has played for their under-21 team.[8]

Brown has represented England at under-16, under-17 and under-19 levels.[4]

Patrick James Bamford (born 5 September 1993) is an English professional footballer who plays for Norwich City on loan from Chelsea. Bamford plays as a centre forward, but is also capable of playing an attacking midfield role.

He began his career at Nottingham Forest, making his debut on 31 December 2011, and a month later joined Chelsea for a fee of £1.5 million. Chelsea then loaned him out to Milton Keynes Dons, Derby County, Middlesbrough with whom he won the Championship Player of the Year, and eventually Crystal Palace.

Capped once for the Republic of Ireland at under-18 level, he later changed allegiances to England, whom he has represented up to under-21 level.

Kevin David McDonald (born 4 November 1988) is a Scottish professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Championship club Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Born in Carnoustie, Scotland he began his career with Dundee before moving to England to sign for Burnley, for whom he played in the Premier League. He spent two full seasons with Sheffield United before moving to his current club in August 2013.

Ozzie Brown told Vittesse supporters he wouldn't be staying for next season. Here is some replies.

Goede voerballer maar een slapzak- Good player but he is a sleeping bag. (Lazy)

Tot ziens- Good-bye

Brown heeft op mij in de enkele wedstrijden dat ik hem zag spelen indruk gemaakt met zijn perfecte voorzet en drive- In the few games I saw him I was impressed with his perfect crosses and his drive.

Echt een waardeloze speler. Niet van het niveau dat verwacht wordt in de Eredivisie.- A real worthless player not the expected level needed for the Ere-divisie.

Ik had hem al na twee trainingen naar huis gestuurd.- I would have sent him home after 2 training sessions.

This is obviously a small amount of opinions from their support.

Just arrived at a hotel in Leeds that I use. Lad who works here seems to be fairly well connected from when I have spoken to him before.

He reckons Barton is as good as signed and would be very surprised if it doesn't happen now

Young players on loan deals are often more miss than hit for various reasons.

I'm glad we've managed to sign Rossiter as our own player and we stand to benefit on the pitch and eventually the balance sheet if things go well. I think it helps focus the player and his responsibilities.

" Nathan Oduwa is refusing to sign a new contract at Tottenham and is hoping to impress a new club at the Olympic Games with Nigeria this summer, Sky sources understand.

Spurs triggered the option to extend his current deal until 2017 earlier this year, after the youngster impressed on loan at Rangers, but he is stalling over new terms amid interest from clubs in Spain.

Oduwa has been urged by his agent to sign the new three-year contract, which was offered by Spurs last September, but the player and his family believe he could be playing and earning more elsewhere and hope a new club will attempt to sign him after the Games. "
