Listening to the radio yesterday we were told that three of the 66 world cup players have developed Alzheimer's plus quite a few other players who played in that great era of british football .

Then we had a neuro surgeon saying that heading the ball may have to be banned I know a lighter ball these days but once the ban this brigade start there is no stopping them .

Not sure if this could be linked to heading the ball but i'm curious to see the percentage of ex-footballers that have developed Alzheimer's is compared to those who have this affliction but have never headed a football.

There may not be absolutely conclusive proof at the moment but it has to come.

Some of these court cases pending will give the definitive breakthrough to a causal link.
