Season a Ticket Renewals

What is the average price of a ST right now ? How much to the Tims pay ?

Can we expect to pay significantly less on ST's but still see fairly sizeable enhancement of the playing squad ?

I will be the cheapest as I'm in family section at the moment. I have sat in both govan(sandy jardine) and Copland before and you pay more but this season I paid £312+£50 for my niece. As I say I will be the cheapest I think.

312 does sound cheap to me. What is our price on average to the Celtic fans average ?

I hear you guys saying that 10% sounds about right.... I wouldnt be surprised if it is more given the jump to the top league and assuming the price has previously been suppressed de to playing in the lower leagues. What was the average price when we got demoted ? 4 years on we should surely be expecting something similar, and that doesn't account for inflation in the intervening periods.

We were talking about this at half time on Tuesday. The prices roughly halved in 2012, and only went up marginally since. The current price of around £350 compares to the bheasts who are up nearer £600 than £500 from what I heard. For us to compete properly, bearing in mind we earn next to nothing from merchandising, Europe or to deals, we have to accept our part and pay accordingly.

I am expecting an increase of around £100 for an adult ST, which is still going to be cheaper than what we paid in 2011 and cheaper than our rivals. 5 or 10% is not going to be enough.

I'm in SJ rear and this season I think I paid just under £500 for myself & about £100 for my 14 year old son.

I think the advantage of the SJ stand is that my son gets a reduced price ticket up to 18 whereas in the Copland & Broomloan he only gets that up to 16.

Aye, I know there will be a lot of fans who can't afford that, however as you say I really hope that we increase our ST sales hugely!,the club needs the money,I'm sure there will be an increase on ST sales for next season after all we are certainly on the up,the feel good factor is back and things on & off the pitch are certainly looking good,if anyone can afford a ST that doesn't have one then make sure you purchase one,it's all for the good of Rangers.

Thanks TB. And as for your post in general, that is EXACTLY what I have been trying to convey.

A 10% increase on 350 quid leaves us paying only 385 whilst the Tims are still paying 500 (conservatively). That means our ST is 25% cheaper than theirs..... I suspect that we as fans will have to choose.... we either are prepared to help the Club on its way financially alongside King & T3B by paying a fairly significant increase in ST monies.... or we watch as our revenues don't get even close to Celtic and become ever more reliant on investment from King & T3B to provide working capital.

Me ? My situation is different but I am fully prepared for a 25% increase (or more) in my online ST cost. I will happily pay it knowing that the money is going to custodians of the Club who have the clubs best interests at heart. I am confident the money wont be frittered away on sp1vs, dubious contracts or other nefarious things or people. That will be good enough for me.

Lol. I get charged USD but when it leaves my account they take out the GBP equivalent :D Works out to be about 200 quid a season.

How is it Craig they are offering all the live games for 5 pound a month. If my arithmetic is good that is only 60 pound.

Or is it 200 for the total RTV package.

The mhanks wage bill is £24m yearly and ours is around £7m according to recent press reports(u would have to check accounts to be accurate) that's the main reason their ST prices are the price they are. Paul Murray had already stated there will be no wild spending so our outlay in wages will say top £10m next year. I don't see them putting £100 on an ST, that would be commercial suicide as at the moment we have 36k ST holders and there will be a good number, no matter how much they want to, can't afford that.

As I said I fancy 10% or thereabouts next year and providing we do well enough it will increase again the year after.

I think we have to be careful with the pricing as people will translate into % and an increase of 20%, is way too high imo.

Stage it, think like a business, there would be no harm for example, 10%-5%-5% over the next 3 years, it's good income and shows willing and initiative by the club.

I think that is "as live", not the same as live pete.

200 quid for the full package, full access, and all games live. They charge you 6 quid a game so the 5 quid a month, I think, is just for RTV access but not the games.
