craig 5,199
I thought it was a 6 month loan too - but even if it was it makes no difference as his contract is set to expire in June anyway so we could still sign him (unless gazumped, which I couldn't see happening).
Gribz 850
Im sure Everton allowed his contract to end. But its a MUST that he is persuaded to stay on for another season. Im pretty sure he hasnt mentioned anything about retiring. And Ehiogu is the same - How long is his contract for?? Berti Vogts has done us a favour from leaving him out the national team for 2 years - it means we are getting more mileage out of him - first good thing berti has done since joining Nigeria!!
Laudbertz 0
I think Ehiogu's contract was 18 months. But yeah i hope Weir stays on for another year too if he continues to play the way he is right now.

I think Weir will play another year - he has never played with a club as big as us and has never played CL football which hopefully we will secure for next season.

According to Ally McCoist, he hopes Broadfoot will learn off Weir next season. Looks like Weir will stay on for another season then.
pete 2,499
I must admit i wasn't too happy about Weir coming in but he has certainly done a good job up until now. His experience will certainly help the young defenders settle in. I doubt if he will make Svensson head a ball any better though.
