ST MIRREN have today said sorry to their fans and offered them a £10 reduction on season tickets after they riled Buddies over Rangers’ title party. The Paisley club had agreed to give Gers supporters three stands for the final-day clash on April 30 – a move that would force season-ticket holders to relocate to different parts of the ground. But Saints have now attempted to offer an olive branch to fans with a price cut in next season’s season books. A statement from chief executive Tony Fitzpatrick and St Mirren Fans Council chairman Colin Haggerty read: “As a result of feedback received from our supporters affected by the change in seating at the forthcoming Rangers match, the club has engaged with The St Mirren Fans Council and have taken on board the thoughts and feelings of our supporters. “As a result the affected Season Ticket holders are being offered a £10 reduction on next season’s season ticket and will be invited to a special screening of the League Cup winning video at a future date to be confirmed.
