Queens Clash Unchanged

Recommended Posts

Point is, we'll probably "loose" only Barrie McKay from the "certain starters", when the last time around, three or four players were called up, which seems to be the cut (whether most of them are u21s doesn't seem to matter). Had Holt, Halliday, and/or Wallace been capped, the game would have been off.

On a sidenote, it was very good to see such a healthy crowd last Friday against Morton, when you would have expected 5 to 10 less because of it being a Friday eve fixture.

I think Friday evening fixtures are quite popular although many people from afar will have travelling difficulties and may need to use holidays to attend. On a Friday you have that weekend feeling whereas a Sunday you feel the back to work tomorrow feeling. At least I have that.
