That Friday feeling: Rangers v Greenock Morton

Took us a while to break down the yellow wall, Morton were very good at frustrating us for long spells in the first half. Too little shots from outside the area still, same with free kicks and corners. Once Miller scored, you saw their heads go down somewhat. They tried to play a bit of footie themselves and were duly punished. We could have had a couple from Shiels more, but it was all about job being done.

 

Holt less effective today, O'Halloran even less so. McKay brilliant from start to finish, Shiels hit the ground running too. And what can you say about the Old Fox, working tirelessly, not always perfect, but there to score two important goals.
