Sportscene (aaargh!) in fairness brought up the 'Wallace' omission from the squad by focusing on Morton's goal yesterday.

 

He was up the park when the space the Morton guy had was immense. I can see why Lee isn't in there...Strachan doesn't have the players to play the same system as MW.

There is no way Teirney at 18 without a cap at any age level should be selected before Wallace in any formation!,Wallace is a far better player then Tierney end of,and the ''I know what Wallace can do'' excuse isn't true when Strapon picks players who he, ''knows what they can do'' ,Mulgrew selected for both squads says it all really!

Has he?, I'm not sure he has?,however if what you say about Wallace is true then what is Tierney?. It doesn't really matter anyway it is clear Wallace has no future as a Scotland player!,yet McGinn from Hibs gets a call up when he would not get a start in our team!,Halliday & Holt are far superior players and wee Barrie only gets an under 21s' call up!,embarrassing!.

It is a simple question,is Tierney a better player than Wallace?

I mentioned earlier in the thread at surprise to Barrie's omission at the same time at Tierney's inclusion.

 

Strange, but it's Scotland remember and my previous praise of Strachan has diminished full fold.

 

How he could ignore McKay is a disgrace IMO.

It is a simple question,is Tierney a better player than Wallace?

 

I've never seen Tierney have no idea about the player, he might be a good defender for all I know, what I do know is that Wallace has shone this season, he's found heaven under MW - Attacking Leftback, Tav on the right is also enjoying his role on the other side.

 

Strachan would love to select attacking full-backs but he can't because of the lack of ability all-round in Scotland.

 

Edit: Scotland's National team has f*cked-up since I was in nappies...Strachan getting TWO shots to f*ck-up is just typical of those who are in charge of our game.

I can understand it to be honest. Scotland can never play the pressing game and need to defend mostly. Lets be honest Wallace is not a good defender.
