My cynical self just uttered: because we are a Championship club and they can thwart us of having a bigger attendance due to Ulster Bears and those from the South of England can't get to the game. No matter how you turn it, we've been heinuously bullied ... again ... and some luke-warm police advice has been used as an excuse. NB: There would not even be a conflict with those people making their way to the Rangers Ladies game on Sunday, as they will be playing against Edinburgh in the capital ... NB II: The LCF only starts at 15.00 hours, so a 12.30 KO could have been scheduled. And since the game isn't on TV either, there would be no reasonable conflict, as the Bears are unlikely to watch the LCF anyway.
