We do not expect any reason from Scottish sports journalists et al, do we?

 

The simply mantra that Wallace was suddenly no longer "good enough" for the national team while we were in SFL 3 (without even having kicked a ball against a 4th tier team back then) says it all. To get Scotland anywhere, you would need someone like Warburton coming in, someone who looks at ability first and foremost, not names, teams, et al.
