Rangers plot summer bid for Dundee ace Greg Stewart

Recommended Posts

RANGERS are set to reignite their interest in Dundee’s Greg Stewart this summer.

Gers have been tracking the forward since the start of the season but opted against making a January move.

Mark Warburton pushed through deals for Michael O’Halloran and Billy King last month — but will now look again at Stewart.

SunSport understands Championship leaders Gers will launch a bid to get him in the next window.

Stewart, who is under contract until summer 2017, has been a star man for Paul Hartley’s side since joining from Cowdenbeath in 2014.

I'd imagine we'll get a good look at him a week on Saturday/Sunday...

The predictable wheels of the Scottish football media keep turning round the 'controversial angles' to stoke up the predictable verbal rammies.

How many words to come on:

- 'Dundee unhappy with Gers attempt to unsettle Stewart'

- 'Stewart aims to put Rangers out but could be ruining his chance of European football next season'

- 'Stewart says he has heard nothing and as far as he is concerned will be a Dundee player next season'

- 'Stewart says he doesn't read the stories as he is only focused on his next game'

etc.
