Solid Display Lacking Quality In Final Third

Recommended Posts

Does anyone have the stats for the amount of goals we score when Waghorn starts through the middle as opposed to out wide?

I know he was poor today (wasn't alone) but I really don't think starting wide right suits him or our team. I am thinking our last dip in form/scoring coincided with the last time Waggy started wide right for a few games in a row. Moving to a wide position late in the game when we bring on another striker through the middle has worked well as far as I recall, but much less so in reverse.

Might be wrong but would be interested to know if stats like that are available.

What a post "didn't hear or see game today must do better"

Best lagh from a post yet:roflmao:

I thought it was a fair comment from compo?

I didn't see or hear the Barca Valencia game midweek...but would say - Valencia must do better! :D

Our final ball was a problem today...everything else was fine I'd say.

Barrie's ball to Waghorn late on was the only time I can remember us getting it right in that department.

Can you imagine the reaction if that chance had falling to KM with the same outcome?

Miller would probably have done exactly the same.
