Charlie Telfer to be released?

Recommended Posts

Striker Aidan Connolly is leaving Dundee United after having his contract terminated by mutual consent.

The 20-year-old, son of former Tangerines favourite Paddy, was signed by Jackie McNamara, two-and-a-half years ago.

But he has never quite been able to hold to a regular place in the first team squad and has not feature in the line-up since early December.

There has also been speculation midfielder Charlie Telfer will leave before the transfer window closes, but so far there has been no confirmation of that from Tannadice.

Another McNamara signing, United were ordered to pay £200,000 for him by a transfer tribunal after they signed him for Rangers in 2014.

I wonder if bears would take him back? I would say he fits the philosophy, but he's shown no loyalty and might be getting shafted by a side bottom of the premiership (that's not necessarily a bad thing as he maybe doesn't fit Mixu's style).

He's been found out. He's not good enough
