A smoke bomb has been let off in Celtic's Scottish Premiership match against Dundee United at Tannadice Park.

An orange plume was visible among home supporters at Tannadice after the smoke was released during the first half of the match.

This latest incident involving smoke bombs comes after police said they were using social media to help track down yobs who sang sectarian songs and set of smoke bombs during Celtic’s Scottish Cup clash with Stranraer.

Celtic’s biggest supporters groups have come together this week to condemn fans who continue to bring banned pyrotechnics to matches and have demanded the behaviour stop.

Four people were arrested at during the Scottish Cup clash at Stair Park for behaviour police described as “unacceptable.”

That great dirge, Roll of Honour, belted out by Celtic fans at Tannadice. Cringe-making

Sidenote ... RoH glorifies IRA terrorists:

... and it would fall under the Terrorist Act 2006 because of ...

1 Encouragement of terrorism

(1) This section applies to a statement that is likely to be understood by some or all of the members of the public to whom it is published as a direct or indirect encouragement or other inducement to them to the commission, preparation or instigation of acts of terrorism or Convention offences.

(2) A person commits an offence if

(a) he publishes a statement to which this section applies or causes another to publish such a statement; and

(b) at the time he publishes it or causes it to be published, he—

(i) intends members of the public to be directly or indirectly encouraged or otherwise induced by the statement to commit, prepare or instigate acts of terrorism or Convention offences; or

(ii) is reckless as to whether members of the public will be directly or indirectly encouraged or otherwise induced by the statement to commit, prepare or instigate such acts or offences.

(3) For the purposes of this section, the statements that are likely to be understood by members of the public as indirectly encouraging the commission or preparation of acts of terrorism or Convention offences include every statement which

(a) glorifies the commission or preparation (whether in the past, in the future or generally) of such acts or offences; and

(b) is a statement from which those members of the public could reasonably be expected to infer that what is being glorified is being glorified as conduct that should be emulated by them in existing circumstances.

This will continue until someone at Rangers grows a pair and challenges all of this by the yahoos & the SFA's constant inaction towards them.

One chorus of TBB and its all over the mhedia yet the yahoos continue to evade scrutiny again last night.

He says its cringe-making so he is not encouraging it but rather saying it is embarrassing.

You should take a step back and listen to what he really thinks about stuff in this country 'cringeing' and 'embarrassing' isn't how he describes Rangers it's more heated and with 'sectarianism and hatred' thrown in,he works for BBC Scotland after all, but you knew that anyway Craig. The guy is a cancer.

So embarrassing that he writes columns about it, eh? I don't think he needs you to deflect for him.

Away with ye. I'm hardly deflecting for him. In dB's post, English clearly says that the singing of roll of honor is cringe-making. How the hell that can be worked out to be a ringing endorsement of it is beyond all logic.

Call English out as often as you like because he certainly gives plenty of opportunity..... But in the Tweet dB references he isn't doing any such thing.

I dislike him as much as the next Bear

Why should I ? I know he is a cancer and a Rangers-hater who hears sectarianism only one way.... Doesn't mean he was supporting the singing of roll of honor though does it ?
