After the success of last year's event with Dave Smith speaking, not only do we have one speaker at our 2016 New Year dinner, we now have two very special guests attending: namely Barcelona '72 legends, Willie Johnston and Colin Stein. Both gentleman will indulge us with an hour long Q&A before we all enjoy a fantastic three course Indian meal. The venue is the Indian Brassiere on the Paisley Road West - just a five minute walk from Ibrox Stadium (next to the junction with the Copland Road). Of course, Rangers play Falkirk at home that afternoon in a top of the table clash (KO 3pm) so what better way to finish your day than in the company of fellow fans and two Hall of Fame heroes. Details of the restaurant menu are as follows: - Spiced poppadoms will be provided as we gather for around a 6pm Q&A start - Our hosts will then offer a Chef's Platter of Starters consisting of: Mixed Pakora; Chicken Chaat, Aloo Tikki, Seekh Kebaba and Chicken Tikka. - Guests will then have a free choice from the full À la carte menu featuring: Tandoori chicken, lamb and king prawns. A full range of cooked to order in-house specials including Korma, Bhoona, Biryani, Chasni, Jaipuri, Masala, Nashli, Malaidar, Shakuti, Rogan Josh, Balti, Patia, Dhansac and more will be available. Vegetarians and allergies can obviously be catered for. Nan bread, chapattis and boiled rice also served as required. Please note, European dishes are also available (but we ask for these to be pre-ordered in advance). These are Sirloin Steak, Breaded Haddock or Chicken and are all served with salad and french fries. - Finally a variety of desserts will be available including the traditional Indian hot Gulab Jamin with ice cream. Incredibly the price for this wonderful evening of food and entertainment is just £15. However with only 35 places available, you'll have to be quick so please get in touch with myself or Brahim Hemdani via PM to secure your seat. Full payment will be taken in advance and we can't offer refunds after the 23rd of January. Here's to another fantastic evening!!!
