andy steel 0
What a shambles Seems a bit like the usual football board attitude to football fans, turn up, pay up & shut up. If those in power are trying to keep you out, it' all the more reason to keep pushing at the door. Of course there could be some other explanation.

IIRC James Blair tweeted earlier today (since vanished) that DK would match the £500k loan and Ricki Neill did likewise less than an hour before Rangers issued their statement. Blair is the Company Secretary and really should know better, perhaps he needs to hang up one of his hats. BrahimHemdani 1
Isn't that exactly what the Board are attempting to do? It's not clear to me exactly what the current Board are trying to do in terms of funding but I am not comfortable with us living from one loan to another no matter who are providing the loans. Don't you think it would have been better for Rangers First to have sounded the Club out before making the offer? Didn't you notice the Special Resolutions and the constant utterances of the Board to get funding via equity as opposed to loans? Don't you think it would have been better for Rangers First to have sounded the Club out before making the offer? Of course hence my "What a shambles" remark.

Yes I did but am not entirely convinced by the reasons given for the delays, are you?
craig 5,199
What a shambles Agreed. You would have thought they would have contacted the Club to ensure it was even feasible before announcing it to members.
forlanssister 3,114
Yes I did but am not entirely convinced by the reasons given for the delays, are you? Insofar as that relates to being on a market I regard that as a red herring, I see no benefit of a listing. In regards to the dis-application of pre-emption rights I believe had that passed the 75% threshold then Ashley would have went to court immediately.
BEARGER 1,830
Louden Tavern sent out emails earlier stating that King would match RF £500K. Seems that someone at RF has gone off at a tangent on this, hence the tersely worded club statement.

With the fans doing their best to support the club financially this is exactly the sort of shambles we should not be subjected to imo. Get it sorted guys. You're only providing ammo to rumourmongers and romancers to continue making up stories.
