Celtic 1993 Accounts/Cambuslang Development: Argument with Auditor and Differences in Valuations

Interesting comparing Celtic’s 30th June 1993 Annual Report and a paper obtained under FOISA from Scottish Enterprise entitled ‘SE(92)71 Board Paper, Glasgow Development Agency, Superstadium Project – Cambuslang’. Whole paper at the end of the blog post.

Firstly we’ll look at the Annual report for year ending 30 June 1993.

Slightly off topic...I was travelling in a taxi through Shettleston then into the Parkhead area on my journey into town on Xmas night, we passed by the P.Drome and it was lit up like the Blackpool illuminations, must be in to fiddling with elec meters now!

For those not familiar with that route...it's very rundown except when you hit that place, then after it's just as bad especially the 'barras' area....baffling!

Its about time someone asked where has all the money come from to pay for this tarting up of their monkey house or was it a freebie from the council

Is it not well known that vast sums of public money was spent in and around the San Giro as it was used for the 2014 CG opening ceremony. Why it was ever used for the opening ceremony is another question as it is normal to have the Athletics arena as the venue for the opening ceremony.
