Rangers, Identity and Nationalism

Don't try and smear socialism with not very subtle allusions to Nazis. A real socialist is internationalist. As soon as you try to contain it within one country you get the kind of distortions found in stalinist Russia and China. Tony Forres, your best bet is to try to reclaim the Scottish Labour Party from the careerist types who have seized it, just as is now hopefully happening in England

which is why Lenin's true successor was Trotsky

Titter, why do internationalist entryists always go after national political parties?

The traditional SNP has been infiltrated and subjugated by a Nationalist Republican agenda. When the realism of this fact sinks in with the non republican element within it's ranks, they'll again be a mass defection, this time back to the arms of the Labour Party imo.

While agreeing with your first sentiment there, the Labour party is finished mate. The professional suits who'd never done a days work in their lives took over and ruined the party. A terrorist loving beard is now in charge but the grooming of his successor has already started and that will lead to another all out war in their ranks. It will be another 30 years before they sort themselves out. All in my opinion of course.

Okay guys I don't mind this thread going on as a Rangers theme but when we start discussing Nazism and Trotsky then we are way off line. keep it Rangers coloured either that or start a post in the Bluenose lounge.

I personally would have voted Yes(If I had a vote) as I moved from Labour to SNP before I left Britain in 1980.

I have totally no inclination to vote tory just because I am a Rangers supporter. I only voted SNP because I wanted a free Scotland. I would have moved back to Labour when we had gained that. for me it is all irrelevant now as I don't have a vote.
