ian1964 10,761
Another defeat for that rancid wee club, sitting bottom of the league,it will be very pleasant passing you on the way up!
RANGERRAB 3,732
Would it not be more satisfying if we relegated them by beating them in the play-offs? Baldy Thompson's face would be a joy to behold

RANGERRAB 3,732
Giving up on winning this league? No not at all but relegating them would be enjoyable would it not? Promotion as champions would always be first choice
ian1964 10,761
Celtic Chief Executive Peter Lawell has confirmed that Celtic will “almost certainly” have a development side in the Scottish Championship next year. Speaking at the launch of the new venture, SFA Supremo, Lawell said that development of players remains a focus for Celtic & the competitive nature of the Championship remains the place to “Blood” new & emerging talent, he continued “It was our fervent hope that the development team would be in the Premier League, however SFA & SPFL rules prohibited this, despite legal challenges from the club”. Speaking at the event, Celtic development Chairman, Stephen Thompson, commented “We have for a number of years contributed directly to the development policy of Celtic & will continue to do so, despite the financial costs involved”. Celtic Development Team manager, Mixu Paatelainen, shared his regret that the Celtic Development Team would not be in the Premiership but conceded that SFA & SPFL rules prohibited this bold move. Lawell commented that Celtic have previously entered into such Development plans before, albeit loosely, with a club in Edinburgh but recent signing Scott Allan proved a major disappointment & that “informal” agreement had been superseded by this new formal arrangement. Lawell again stated that he was disappointed that the Celtic Development Team would not be in the Premiership but conceded that there was no legal precedent to prevent Dundee United’s relegation. Edit, this was lifted from FF. Edited November 29, 2015 by ian1964
