Transfer Deadline Day: Michael O'Halloran signs until 2020

Nice to know you know his thinking.

I know his thinking as much as you do - yet you were the one asserting "the only thing that makes sense".

Seems Warburton doesn't agree with you given he continues to play Zelalem.

I think Gunslinger is saying MW continues to play Zelalem in order to keep getting loan players. Continuing to play GZ is not only consistent with that thinking, it's required for it... So playing Zelalem doesn't prove Warburton doesn't agree with GS (but also doesn't prove he agrees).

Cant be having that-----Bullshit sit on the fence rubbish.

State your case plainly , or move on.

Indeed mate. If he doesn't develop these players he won't get good ones to work with later.

While I would like that he clearly wouldn't.

That's my view based on watching them. It is of course possible Warburton actually rates him.

Seems implausible to me but who knows.

I know what he is saying, I just happen to disagree with him.

What actually makes sense to me is that Warburton rates the kid. What also makes sense to me is that Warburton is expecting different things from the kid than you are GS.

I am not inclined to agree that if Zelalem didn't develop under Warburton that we wouldn't get further loan signings - everyone knows, Wenger & Pochettino included, that you can't always get success when attempting to develop young diamonds in the rough. Some you win and some you lose.

This is a results driven business, like it or not. And given that, it is perfectly plausible that Warburton rates Zelalem and he believes the kid provides value to this team.

Just because YOU believe one thing, doesn't make it actually the case.

Dropped him for the his game I notice. I know what I'm seeing. But I can't claim to be able to read Warburtons mind.

Maybe nosebleeds in the final third and fear in the challenge are his thing.

Maybe being tidy on the ball outweighs that.

Who knows.
