Two, actually, since they had one about one of Nacho Novo's relatives as well. His stepson!

More info would be nice, but I reckon due to the amount of untangling & wrangling of contracts that the Board have enough to deal with. I'm kind of assuming they hope all these appointments, plus facility upgrades, fan board etc will allow them to do the dirty work behind the scenes whilst we enjoy whats happening on the park. Given the legal issues, I'm not surprised we are hearing much as to finances. Bear in mind Green is trying to sue for court costs, would you come out and say yeah I've just whacked £1.5mil in to the club? It doesn't make sense to provide the other side with ammunition.

I'm OK with waiting for a bit. I didn't expect KingCo to come in and chuck £30mil in & expect that to solve the problem. In fact, i'd argue that by not doing so, I have more confidence they are working on the underlying issues to make us profitable going forward.

It's all gone a bit quiet on the MASH front though, anyone know anything there?

Pure speculation on my part Mazza, but Ashley is apparently notoriously difficult to deal with in negotiation? I would guess King got no joy in his meeting's with Ashley, so the club is waiting for a guilty judgement in the forthcoming Whtye, Green Duff and Phelps Four versus the Crown case. Then i hope they will declare all onerous contracts agreed by them, nil and void?

Apparently the 3 bears have said if necessary they will cover Green's costs. Also that Dave King is in town this week . Don't know if it's true

If Green wins the case then they will have no choice other than to pay.

I found this elsewhere ; " DAVE King and the majority shareholders at Rangers have agreed on a plan to pay for Charles Green’s legal costs - should they be ordered to do so by the court.

The former chief executive is facing charges of fraud from his time at the Glasgow giants. He will stand accused with five others, including ex-owner Craig Whyte.

Green’s legal team will argue the club are liable for the costs, thought to be around £1.5million, at a two day hearing beginning on November 12. "
