Rangers Fan Board Communication

EMAIL SENT OF BEHALF OF THE RANGERS FAN BOARD

Following meaningful discussions with the existing consulted fan groups, this draft proposal has been compiled as the basis for further discussions regarding the future of fan representation at Rangers.

It is hoped and indeed expected that all supporters read the proposals in full and vote accordingly in the poll indicating whether you support the proposal or not.

It is hoped that this is the start of creating a strong fans organisation that will fully represent the hopes and aspirations of all fans no matter who or where.

Whilst many challenges remain ahead there is no doubt of the love that we all have for our football club and at all times we must pull together whilst expressing our views.

There can be no greater privilege than being part of an organisation at the heart of a great football club and help to shape its future.

Many of you had the opportunity to vote just over a year ago for the RFB – it’s your opportunity again.

The choice is now yours.

Alan Fraser,

Fans Board – Season Ticket Holders Representative

I voted yes. Exciting times ahead for the club and the support if these proposals come to fruition.

I'm looking to put my direct financial input to the club through the RST's new initiative part of the proposal.

However what's in this for the support? Yes i understand we get a say in the club through fan representation, but what's to say the man with the most shares will not do as he pleases, regardless of what the support say or think.

To really hold any say or sway, the support need to own tangible assets imo, if we are going to put in a financial investment in the form of cash over the decades, what do we purchase? Surely not just a voice in the boardroom that can be outvoted at the whim of rich men.

I want my money to to help the club and help the support, gain their rightful ownership of parts of the club. That's only fair, as rich men have been buying (and then abusing the club these last few years) with their financial investments.

THE Club is delighted that the members of the Rangers Supporters Trust and Rangers First have voted so overwhelmingly in favour of the establishment of a new Fans Group.

With positive responses of 99% and 97% respectively, this demonstrates the strength of desire among our supporter base to come together for the benefit of the Club.

We look forward to the proposals being finalised and believe that this will further enhance relationships between the Club and supporters.
