Bearman 9
This player has potential and a lot of learning to do still...and yet our fans don't rate him. Strange. We'd like to see our home grown players put ahead of anyone but since Nicky Clark has produced on a regular basis time and time again I see no reason, in my opinion, considering his wonderful strike to win the game against Livingston a deserved starting place in our next match. Most posters on here don't rate the guy...but that's another thing. Bring back Nicky Clark? Most definitely our preferred natural striker. Sometimes the magic hat can slip and interfere with his bests judgement, for what reason I can't fathom. Nicky Clark has a fine eye for goal...if given the chance he'll do well in the strikers role...something we seem to lack at the moment. Frankie 8,663
I don't mind Clark. He clearly has his limitations but he's a decent squad player to have. At some point though we need to look to Hardie.
der Berliner 3,808
You would imagine that you pick players on their form in play and training. Granted, Clark has limited chances, so he probably gets some leeway. But if Hardie scores regularly for the u20s and is promising in training, why not give him a chance? Likewise, Clark is more a Kenny Miller type of striker, working hard, roving about, but not always there where you'd expect him to be in a three-man attack. Hardie looks to be more like of the true centre forward ilk. It could well be that both Clark and Hardie got the benefit of the doubt from W&W, so they can prove their value to the squad before the manager looks for another Waghorn.

Certainly not in Rangers colours he hasn't. 2nd touch is a tackle and even his goal the other night, whilst a nice strike, had a hint of "hit and hope" to it - he clearly didn't catch it properly as the swerve it took was what caused it to hit the back of the net. He had an eye for goal when playing for Queens, not for Rangers. Not good enough for the top league, in my opinion.
colinstein 294
Agree with the above.....what has Nicky Clark produced time and time again ? I must have missed it !...My view is he'll be gone as soon as his contract's up.

No pleasing some folk...hit and hope? Clarky was crying for the pass from Wallace which was delivered..he finished it with aplomb. Your view doesn't matter mate...Nicky Clark is a proper striker as is Hardie, but MW doesn't think he's quite ready yet.
