Uefa: Scottish & Polish FAs cited over Hampden incidents

Recommended Posts

Uefa has opened disciplinary proceedings against the Scottish FA and its Polish counterpart over the Euro 2016 qualifier at Hampden.

The SFA has been cited over a lack of body searches, pitch invasions and blocked stairways.

Fireworks set off by Polish supporters and crowd disturbances among away fans have also been noted by Uefa.

A 2-2 draw meant Scotland miss out on a place at the Euro 2016 finals. The proceedings will be held on 22 October.

I was searched as entered the east stand but there were hundreds of polish fans dotted around in plain sight. It did cause a bit of bother especially after the early goal... So no surprise to see uefa raise their charge.
