Gedion Zelalem joins Rangers from Arsenal on loan until January

Just feel that it is important that we don't lose sight of the state our club was in only a few months back. We all know that those who were the so-called custodians of the club had no real interest in the welfare of Rangers. On the park the displays against Motherwell, who themselves, were a struggling outfit, underlined our poverty of talent. It is correct that loan players bring with them uncertainty but surely it is a huge relief that our new management team appear to be working to a sensible strategy in developing young talent, improving fitness and putting essential building blocks in place. If that necessitates making the use of talented, not the usual type of loan players, so be it. Some feel that it is essential to buy in talented players but when challenged to name such players, the response isn't loud. There are bound to be some mistakes made and decisions taken that might not be successful but if the people who have stood by our club through what has been a horrendous time, can avoid impatience, when setbacks surface, there does seem evidence that the approach being taken by those in the boardroom and in particular by those working with the playing staff, at first team level and below, will bring back the good times that we are seeking and deserve.

All I want is the best eleven players we can get on the park playing for Rangers. If that includes loan signings out to progress their careers at other clubs then so be it.

What I don't want to see again is 'Rangers men' like we got last season who were pinching a living out of Rangers who were well past their best & should have been nowhere near the club. That includes managers too.

After all the stuff I've read about this player, I can't wait to see him pull the jersey on.

I would prefer to watch him play football to be honest but everyone to their own thing.
