ranger_syntax 4,422
Let's hear you say Ayr and Killie need two stadiums when both of them are bankrupt. Fans would never want stadium sharing and clubs would avoid it where possible. However, financially it makes perfect sense as they share costs that they currently are struggling to meet. If I was an Ayr United fan and the team moved to Kilmarnock I would stop attending matches. Many fans, the type who actually attend, want a local team.
ranger_syntax 4,422
Would we want to share a ground with Celtic. I doubt many will say yes. (On both sides) But, but, but think about how efficient it would be!
ranger_syntax 4,422
It's a cowshed; how about decent stairs to the terracing, decent lighting, decent toilets, and some cover? I agree about the toilets. There is adequate cover for almost every crowd that Ayr gets though.

It wasn't adequate for me and neither were the diversion signs on the A/M 77
limeburner 0
I agree about the toilets. There is adequate cover for almost every crowd that Ayr gets though. Its been left to decay for years, even the Ayr fans i know agree with this. The present owners are basically fiddling whilst rome burns.
