The Bundesliga 2 club were in the top flight two years ago for the first time in 28 years and finished eighth last term in the German second division. They are ready to attempt another push for promotion and Braunschweig sports director Marc Arnold has held talks with Mohsni's representatives. Mohsni has been linked with a move to Tunisian outfit Club Africain too, but has yet to seal a deal. The 27-year-old would then face a sweat to see whether he can resume his career immediately in Germany or Tunisia without a ban.
