Why, and by whose authority?

 

Given SD are an English company all the contracts that they issue will state that they are subject to English law. Both parties would have signed the contract agreeing to this.

Can you tell us what that clause says?

 

A very loose translation of the jargon would be something like - "If Sports Direct fall out with Rangers we can buy your end out for hee haw and the income/revenue Rangers actually receive each year will be absolutely nothing instead of almost nothing"

It's a fact that the case is being held in England and it's a fact that the case would be held in the jurisdiction stated in the contract, so not really just my opinion.
