Get their finger out and do what exactly - attract a top quality manager, top quality players plus huge investment into club in Div 2 in Scotland. What planet are you on? We need a solid manager who gets solid players in ... right now. We are in the Championship and we should obviously look at talent on each field, manager, coaches and players alike. But first and foremost, it should be talent that will get us out of the Championship and that can fight for SPFL "survival", if not a title. It is sometimes rather baffling how people throw about criticism about players and managers alike when they do not perform at a "Rangers level", while on the other hand totally seem to forget where we are and whom we are able to attract. I honestly believe that names like Pereira and Cathro are sure inspiring and visionary, but heck, these people either work for top notch clubs in Europa or will be on the menue of top notch clubs in Europe - at least looking from where we are right now. Perhaps King and Co. can surprise us all, but folk, do come back to earth now and prepare yourself ere a massive let-down strikes you. We need someone who can build a solid basis with solid players and talent. So far, IMHO, only the W&W double ticks those boxes, as they can sure work at that level, better it and with Weir we'd have someone who knows very well what it means to be a Ranger and what is required at the club. 0 Quote Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
