Truly astonishing reports published in the Scottish "Media" despite everyone watching exactly what happened. If there has ever been any doubt in anyones' minds as to the anti Rangers bias then this this must be the clincher. Within seconds of the game, the press were all over it. Not about Motherwell staying up, not about us failing to win promotion, not about McCulloch being prodded by a Motherwell "fan" with a stick, not about Motherwell "fans" invading the pitch, not about Motherwell's inability to steward their own "fans", not about these failures almost culminating in what could have developed in to extreme violence, BUT accusing Mohsni of challenging his attacker again in the car park after the game, then once they had drawn breath, went on to accuse the Rangers' player of extreme "shameful" violence, when it was he who was the victim after being shoved in the back in a cowardly attack, and when he tried to defend himself, further attacked by several other Motherwell players. I hope Mohsni gets legal counsel immediately and takes every one of those libellous rags down, after all who would want to sign such an "animal"! The evidence is there for all to see.

Motherwell face hammering after hat-trick of fan flashpoints threatens to spark a riot

PITCH invasion, flare and even flagpole insist could see club carpeted by SPFL chiefs and police.

MOTHERWELL are poised to be carpeted by SPFL chiefs AND police after a trio of flashpoints from their fans.

The Fir Park club are in the dock following mayhem during their Premiership play-off victory over Rangers yesterday.

Supporters were allowed to stream on to the pitch before goading Rangers fans after the win that saved their top-flight skins.

They headed straight to the stand that held the away support and taunted their rivals, a move that could well have sparked a major riot had the Rangers fans reacted.

A flare was also thrown on to the pitch from the Phil O’Donnell Stand.

Also, a home supporter was caught on camera striking Rangers player Lee McCulloch in the face and on the backside with a flagpole. It is not clear whether it was intentional or not.

The fan was spoken to by police for around 20 minutes following the incident.

Referee Craig Thomson sent off three players after the final whistle as Bilel Mohsni exploded in rage, kicking then punching Motherwell’s Lee Erwin.

And Motherwell could be hammered if they are found to have not done enough to control their supporters.

The SPFL will have the match delegate’s report in the next 48 hours and then a decision will be made whether to take action against the club.

A spokesman for the SPFL said: "We expect to receive the match delegate's report, including input from officials and police, within the next few days and will review this in the normal manner."

I think Rangers should be awarded a 0-3 win:smokin:

Once more neatly ommitting the instigator of the trouble ... who actually becomes a victim.
