Summer 2015 - Transfers and Rumours Thread

Good luck to them but I really hope they don't affect our own players development. Walsh murdoch and mckay are all good enough and should get preference.

I don't think Warburton will do that?,he likes to rotate and likes competition for places keeping the players happy and focused

Sky Sports reported last week that Rangers were one of a number of clubs interested in Oduwa, a 19-year-old attacker highly rated by Spurs' head coach Mauricio Pochettino.

It was understood a number of teams from the Dutch Eredivisie expressed an interest in taking the winger including AZ Alkmaar, Roda JC and Feyenoord, and Coventry City were also keen to sign him.

He'll do for me :)

Primarily as a reference, here's a tactical break-down of the squad we have at this moment, with players (in no particular preference) listed in their prime role and roles they can also be utilized in. While I know that W&W prefer 4-3-3, it is easier to show these players' versatility in a regular 4-4-2.

At the bottom you will find a link to transfermarkt, which will give you all the info regarding the players and their preferred and secondary positions.

Their contracts with Spurs?

So they could end up here if all goes well?

Essentially yes, but that would depend on quite a number of variables. At the end of the day, I reckon that even now they earn as much if not more as youngsters as our players. If the Spurs coach says that they are first team bound, their wage will probably quadruple. Add to that family and distance from home and whatnot ... and you get the measure of the sting needed to infuse the Rangeritis in them. (Apart from that, they would need to perform well and consistently too ... and that might be hard, especially for Ball.
