Supporters taken ill at the game.

Recommended Posts

Two supporters were taken ill at the game. One in the club deck needed resuscitation. He is now recovering in hospital. The other in the Copeland had his blood sugars too low and was okay after medical treatment. It seemingly took an age to get medical treatment to the man in the club deck and a female police officer and a doctor supporter saved the man's life. This must ask questions if the medical support at the ground is sufficient.

Hopefully both of the people are ok.

The Copeland guy was okay virtually direct and the other guy's son said he was recovering well in hospital and he expected him to be back at Ibrox soon.

Guy in my work had a heart attack in ibrox 15 years ago and he says he owes his life to how quick and good the doctors and medicalstaff were then.

My uncle died on the way to Hamden for a cup game. That was many moons ago.

I was in CD4 and the chap that fell ill there was about a dozen rows in front of me. Awful to see, and I couldn't concentrate on the football or celebrate the goal a couple of minutes later because of it.

Really glad to hear the chap is recuperating.
