Anchorman 0
Much ado has been made of this, even though King and Murray actually spelled it out as clearly as they could when they came in. They stated they would rebuild damaged relations with the SFA. He was never going to do anything else but go through the F&P test. Talk of 'storming the palace' with no consideration for the SFA is just plain bonkers.
Anchorman 0
To be fair, Wallace just took that time and did not exactly ask anyone whether that was appropriate The main problem thus far is that the flow of info is not that great. Umpteen reasons can be put forward why this might be the case, just as many opinions will arise about whether it is good or useful etc. to have any / too much info. At the end of the day, the prolonged silence or spells of silence from the board is bound to cause all sort of sentiment. We all assume that the board is neck deep in all sorts of work. It would - no matter the information value - still be good to know that they are actually still there. One would hope that this King thing is being settled one way or another very soon ... and we will hear from the board about what is going on. Surely we would have learned by now that 'empty barrels make the most noise'. They are actively doing their business behind the scenes and will tell us when there is something tangible to report, rather than spout moonbeams that they can't live up to like has been the case with previous regimes. No news can be good news.

Did they(along with the SPL) not cause this by instigating the title-stripping & all the rest of the nonsense? And did they assume guilt over the EBT's? And the transfrer embargo ? And what did they do about Whyte? Until Rhegan & Liewell are removed from office there can be no rebuilding of relations with this organisation Edited May 15, 2015 by RANGERRAB

Frankie 8,665
The only way we can influence the SFA is by working with it. Distasteful I'm sure we all agree but necessary...
aweebluesoandso 290
How do you propose removing them without rebuilding relations with the SFA? We need to do what the Vhermin did, get Trojan Horses on every committee, sub-committee, panel tribunal and office at every level. Before we can hope to change the ethos of the SPFL, SFA.

der Berliner 3,815
Until Rhegan & Liewell are removed from office there can be no rebuilding of relations with this organisation Well, not exactly rebuilding, but keeping a decent status quo. That includes not going to war with them at each possible occasion. Unless the SFA and SPFL are free of people with agendas (i.e. having roles at member clubs) we (much like most other clubs) won't get or see a treatment that suits all.
Zappa 0
Hopefully this gets sorted out next week so that the Club can move out of this period of limbo.
