I was actually being very polite about Aird's abilities and his suitability to play for us. Give youths a fair crack? Have a word with yourself. Ive no axe to grind with you, but i dont like individuals being picked on,especially when they are no worse than any of the other shit we have. IMHO, Zappa gave a rather impartial run down of what happened to and with Aird. Both Templeton and McKay are - at this moment and time - more talented footballers indeed, and it is rather subjective to say Templeton's career with us being an "abject failure". You'd have to keep a few things in perspective here* and the transfer fee is probably one of the worst arguments for the quality of a player. What we know about McKay's attitude comes from hearsay and does neither relate to the topic of Aird, or the talent of either player. Individuals don't get picked on in threads about said individuals. For talking about them is what the thread is all about.
