The former compliance officer thought there were two possible explanations for the panel's subsequent decision - sympathy or confusion over the offence.

Sympathy? Confusion? Who are these folk running our game?

The tims got pumped out the cup...simples.

What is important is that the tim keeper conceded a penalty when his team were leading 1-0 got sent off reducing his side to ten men (these things happen in football)...the opposition scored from the penalty then went 2-1 up against the ten men in extra-time only to be dragged back from a direct free kick.

ICT were now looking at a penalty shoot-out if they didn't score same for timmy...ICT scored before the end and the tims cry 'CHEAT'

Always cheated Never defeated.

I remember Rangers in a cup final going down to NINE men and still managing to win. (it wasn't that long ago)

Scottish football needs someone like Alex Ferguson to be appointed just to boot arses and bang heads together.

The present incumbents are destroying the game in Scotland.

The current Scottish football 'men' in charge would never let SAF anywhere near their mantle.

Let's leave aside the vexed question of whether or not the Compliance Officer was right to charge the player, he was damned if he did and damned if he didn't.

Let's say the ref or other official saw it, awarded the penalty and ordered off the player; judging by reaction on here most folk would have said that was the correct decision(s).

Let's also say the next match in the tournament was the first cup tie of next season not the Cup Final. Would ICT have appealed, I very much doubt it.

But again, let's say they did appeal.

Take a look at the two pictures here http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-3052672/Inverness-defender-Josh-Meekings-cleared-play-Scottish-Cup-final-independent-panel-tribunal-dismiss-case.html; they appear to show that Meekings raises his arm to handle the ball (unnatural position or not).

So how on earth do the Tribunal get from there to case dismissed?

Probably because it clearly didn't happen the way you suggest.

Something stinks about the SFA's mishandling of Meekingsgate. Questions must not go unanswered.

Clear them out from top to bottom. There is no trust or respect for the existing incumbents.
