ian1964 10,761
Sky don't pay enough to dictate. The fans do. Aye,but the cabal are not interested in what the fans want, they would rather feed of the scraps of sky money!
BrahimHemdani 1
Sky don't pay enough to dictate. The fans do. You are right about this, GS, of course, gate money far outstrips TV money in Scotland but it's not as simple as that. Sponsors want exposure on TV, without TV no (club) sponsors.
the gunslinger 3,366
If you have 3 customers. One for 20 million one for 2 and one for 1. You don't penalise the one at 20 for the other 2.

That's a bit simplistic, GS, but I agree that we lean far too much the wrong way.

pete 2,499
Sky don't pay enough to dictate. The fans do. Agreed but the Sky money comes through the SFA and the Fans money doesn't.The SFA will go where the money is.
ranger_syntax 4,422
There are probably only two changes that I would welcome. Firstly the playoffs to gain promotion favour the team from a league above. This should be changed. Secondly I think we should just stop selling rights to Sky et al. Clubs with sufficient interest can start a channel for fans who can't attend. We can all go back to watching football in person at 3pm on a Saturday.
