Gael Bigirimana: I knew I was sick BEFORE I left Newcastle for Ibrox

Recommended Posts

Neither does Hutton, Law, Walsh, Murdoch, Jig - yet the vast, vast majority of the time you look to cast Vuckic as the issue. You are transparent on this one.

The idea that most of that list doesn't work hard defensively is wrong. I'd drop 3 of them as hard as vuckic mind you.

I'm not sure what people hope to achieve by arguing that others are a shite as him.

That isn't what is being argued. You are suggesting that the team played better because he wasn't in it. You are completely ignoring the contributions of the other players.

Were you at the Livingston or Queen of the South games ? Because, if you were, you would have noticed on more than one occasion that Vuckic actually ran across both Law & Hutton to cover the right hand side of defence (when he was playing left mid) whilst those two mentioned happily watched him do so, whilst they did nothing but look on.

You might want to actually consider that the team has been playing better not because Vuckic wasn't in it, but because McCall has given them a kick in the balls about lack of effort. There has been ONE game with better game play, there is as much chance that it had absolutely NOTHING to do with Vuckic's absence as your suggestion. In fact, had he been playing there is as much chance we would have won by more than two goals.

Vuckic is your comfort blanket - you can blame him for poor performances all you like, but your suggestion that one person has that much of an impact on THIS team (given the poor quality we have) makes little sense.

The rest of us will see that, whilst Vuckic is no Leo Messi, he certainly isn't the pariah you make him out to be. I find it mildly amusing the abuse you give him. If you think Hutton works hard, or that Law works hard, or even Jig, then you are mistaken based on what I witnessed with my own two eyes at the Livvy & QotS games. Hutton barely moves outside of a 20 yd radius the whole game, and Law does little but hide. Walsh, to be fair, plays more as a winger (but then, so too does Vuckic - so if we cut slack for Walsh not working back that well then so too should we give that credit to Vuckic).

In both of those games, but for Vuckic, we would have lost. Unsurprisingly you will try to claim that in those two games had he not appeared then we would have won - based on what I witnessed there was nobody that would have come into the team and change the terrible attitude of the players on the pitch.

We're never going to agree on this we like different things in players. I've said it before but without Weiss getting injured and Wylde coming in we would never have won the league and cup. Football is a team game.

Advocatt knew it. He said tugay was a circus player.

Others disagree.

I could swear we have scored more as well without him being greedy.

Perhaps the same would have been true in the other games mentioned. Wins then iirc instead of defeats and draws.

Watch him..... half the time when you say he is being greedy he has absolutely no out ball. He gets ahead of all other midfielders who simply allow him to forge ahead and make no effort to support him. He then is left with Clark or Miller (or against Livvy it was Daly.... so a cardboard cut-out would have showed more) and he had no options.

I argued too that he needed to release the ball quicker - the problem with that is he had no-one to release it to unless he turned back, and even then he was going back 20 yards. Sometimes "greed" really is because there are no realistic options that are on.

Craig don't waste your time and energy. He started all this before Vuckic kicked a ball for Rangers. He is just trolling with his one line answers without substance.
