Only 3 wins from 10 games under McDowall

Recommended Posts

It's actually 2 wins a draw and a defeat to Celtc before vukich arrives and 2 draws a win and 2 defeats after.

That's the real story.

That's not even the correct results.

Kenny McDowall's first match in charge was Hibs at Easter Road on 27 December when we lost 4-0.

Including that game our results under McDowall are as follows: L W W L L L W D D

The thing is McDowall isn't inspiring anybody. What he has been saying in the media as well is defeatist/excuse based. However he seems to not want to be in the job but would prefer to pick up a wage, which is annoying. His record for a Rangers manager is terrible, but the players are probably ignoring him but they did that with McCoist.

Something happened in mid November, a drastic turn of events that killed our season - results wise.

Our first 20 games up to then included 2 defeats (Hearts,Hibs) and a draw at Alloa, the other 17 were won, the last 6 with clean sheets, 54 goals were scored. Since then our record is played 16 won 6 drawn 3 lost 7, 16 goals scored.

What happened?

we never recovered from the Hearts game - which maybe exposes the inherent lack of bottle and character of this team

We've got very little chance of going up this season.

We've got no chance under McDowall.

So the only chance we have of getting through potentially 3 two-legged play off's is a manager/coach change ASAP. The guy in the bunnett has to go - and without a pay-off !!

The sooner a new man is appointed the better, if he is the correct candidate.

If an appointment is rushed then we are more likely to end up with the wrong man.
