barca72 440
Do we really need the running commentary? Don't read it then. Look up the result for yourself.

Juancornetto 1
That 93rd minute goal cost me £250....
Ser Barristan Selmy 222
I avoid their games like the plague. A 3-3 draw against the worst Inter side in history will have given them a hugely inflated ego. They have no chance in the second leg though Italian teams are terrible in Europe these days.
Juancornetto 1
Centre halves and goalkeeper aside Celtic were impressive. How much was down to the crowd and atmosphere driving average players to bust a gut to make the tackle or make the run can't be quantified but lessons could be learned from our pedestrian superstars and the importance of the fans shouldn't be underestimated.

They have been dreadful in Europe lately but at least they attack teams and try to score. I'd rather lose by a cricket score than ever see us playing 5 at the back against mediocrity.

I'd suffer 5 at the back against mediocrity if it meant at least being in Europe - we are light miles away from that at the minute

der Berliner 3,814
I'd suffer 5 at the back against mediocrity if it meant at least being in Europe - we are light miles away from that at the minute In football, things can change relatively quickly. Who knows where we will be in a year's time. Playing standards included. So your light year might well be rather "short". 40 shots on goal within the last two games may indicate that we are on the up when it comes to attacking opposition teams. Whether that continues and whether our strikers find the target more often is a thing only the future can answer. As for the Yahoos - doing lap of honours and pandering to the Hooped Horrors after 1/8 finals in the Cup or halfway down their EL campaign - it beggars belief how an otherwise illegally signed player scores from an offside position 3 mins into injury time. You just hope Karma returns that favour big time soonish. A neat 4-0 drubbing by a "mediocre" Inter team in the return leg would be a good start.
