BEARGER 1,836
https://www.facebook.com/rangersfansboard Rangers Fans Board 3 mins · . STATEMENT : These Questions were sent to Rangers CEO Derek Llambias within the last half hour. We hope to get answers to these as soon as possible to help answer some of the questions that are currently flying about out there. 1. Why is the EGM being held in London when the company's HQ is in Scotland ? 2. Apparently the venue only holds 500 ? When there was in excess of 2000 at the AGM, what measures are in place if more than 500 fans turn up ? 3. Why did you give the RFB Secretary the go ahead to upload the EGM date if that was not 100% confirmed ? The RFB should stop embarrassing themselves.
simplythebest 0
The RFB should stop embarrassing themselves. It's their fault Llambias lied to them?
Bluedell 5,788
The RFB should stop embarrassing themselves. 2 of the points were similar to the ones made in the RST statement that you posted. Not sure why one organisation are embarrassing themselves and the other isn't.
buster. 5,404
The RFB are being up front and honest, less than what can be said for the RIFC board. A bit like a straightforward and honest Kenny McDowall shouted down the misleading words of Llambias. Llambias is pouring petrol on his already burning bridges regards credibility. Focus should be on the RIFC board, it's disregard and dishonesty when dealing with supporters, shareholders and even the elected fans board. It would seem as every 'new RIFC board' that is born out of every AGM that pledges to tackle the problems left by previous boards are capable of finding new ways of misleading, lying, circum-navigating corporate goverance and ultimatly serving the interests of themselves as individuals and related parties. By God, do we need to shift this lot out of Ibrox lock, stock and barrel.
BEARGER 1,836
It's their fault Llambias lied to them? Not at all. But they are naive in the extreme to expect anything else.
BEARGER 1,836
2 of the points were similar to the ones made in the RST statement that you posted. Not sure why one organisation are embarrassing themselves and the other isn't. I posted the RST statement for information. The difference is that one organisation is a independent one member one vote vote setup, the other aint.

Bluedell 5,788
I posted the RST statement for information. The difference is that one organisation is a independent one member one vote vote setup, the other aint. ...which bears no relevance to your claim about the RFB statement. Surely now isn't the time to criticise statements that are anti-board just on the basis of inter-organisation petty politics?
Bluedell 5,788
Not at all. But they are naive in the extreme to expect anything else. I don't see any sign of them being naive. They reported what they'd been told. They never said they believed it or there was no possibility of them being lied to. It just seems you're trying to invent reasons to have a go at the RFB. There's been plenty to criticise them for but this isn't one of them. They seem to be getting their act together which can only be for our benefit.
