pete 2,499
Did Mike Ashley fund Charles Green in the Rangers takeover. Why would MR Green sell the stadium rights for 1BPS. Is this a normal price in British football? If not what was offered in return for Mr LLambias to get this deal? Why was MR llambias involved at such an early stage. Mr Ashley returned the stadium naming rights for retail deals including the Rangers badge and trademark. Did the board value the retail deals also at 1BPS or did they feel the stadium naming rights were worth giving away the rights to retail, our crest and badges and any future sponsor deals. Why does it seem MR Ashley is winning a gold watch in every deal and Rangers are losing more and more ways to generate cash.
Little General 80
with the board trying to control the RFB,who decides what questions are to be asked? Edited February 3, 2015 by Little General
Mountain Bear 0
1. Are the Board aware of allegations that certain IPO investors were refunded part of their investment, due to the floatation price being 70p and not the £1 promised by Charles Green. Did Mr Ashley recoup some of his initial investment and is so, in what way? 2. What proportion of the Newcastle loan signing's wages are being paid, directly or indirectly by RIFC?
Laudbertz 0
If you are acting in the best interest of the football club, why was MA's loan acceptable when there was a much better deal on the table from 3B's? Why was there outright rejection and no negotiations held with Mr Sarver when he was bidding for the club? Have there been discussions as to when the EGM will take place? Are the board looking into changes in management given that KM has also handed in his notice? Im no wordsmith, but something along these lines of questioning would be nice.
trublusince1982 243
who has and continues to benefit the most from our poor financial position? if you cannot answer that question honestly then does it not tell us everything we need to know?
Frankie 8,570
I trust the RFB to frame and ask the right kind questions. I'm afraid I don't trust the directors to answer them suitably.
pmu 0
The problem with detailed financial questions and questions about green etc is the opportunity for them to lie and fudge. My question would centre on In the face of several other bids etc Ashley appears determined to hold on to as much control as he can get at rangers. What are his plans to revive the club in the short, medium and long term. I want lots of detail on how they plan to win back the support and see 35-40 k season ticket sales again. How are they going to resolve the football management debacle as the football team performance is at the heart of what a football club is. If they can produce a well thought out plan that is workable and meets "reasonable expectations" then at least they have had to reveal some of their masters plans. If on the other hand they have nothing to share then they should be laughed out the door and branded nothing better than Barrow boys chancing their arm. Oh and a reminder they will get less and less income from the fans in the future. Yes they could lie their way through that as well but we're not stupid and it would be apparent in the first few lines they delivered if they were making it up or if they have a well thought out plan garnered from the long time Ashley has been involved..

Perhaps but can they be trusted to question the answers properly. The wee splinter group can't for sure.

That depends if Somers is there to deny supplementaries like he usually does. Maybe they'll take 3 or 4 questions at a time as well.
