Gribz 850
Curbishley is beginning to get on my tits with his after-match comments that "we just need a win" "we should have won here and there" He is playing butter fingers in goal (Roy Carroll) ahead of Englands No.2 Green. Thats a mistake straight away. Upfront he continues to play Zamora who is a Kris Boyd type player - slow with the first touch like a girl. He has signed about 3 centre halfs and is linked with another 12. His latest is Hierardesson (sp) from Charlton. I didnt agree with letting Pardew go and I can see Charlton staying up with the 3 W's going down - Watford West Ham and Wigan.
Whosthedado 1,680
Is Green fit? I saw Carroll playing last night and just assumed Green was injured? Strange choice indeed. Harewood and Carlton Cole are both too sinilar and neither are they very good. At least Zamora works his socks off for them
Gazza_8 233
Green conceded 6 goals at Reading and a few were his fault so Curbishley dropped him. Right thing to do unless your backup keeper is a mistake prone donkey.
Gribz 850
Green is fit, but even if he had 1 bad game v Reading he is still better than Carrolline
juffery 0
From the BBC Website Mascherano free to join Liverpool Mascherano has played for West Ham and Corinthians since July West Ham midfielder Javier Mascherano has been given special dispensation by Fifa to join Liverpool from West Ham. Under Fifa's rules, a footballer cannot play competitively for more than two different clubs between 1 July and 30 June the following year. Mascherano, 22, has already represented Corinthians and West Ham in that time. But Fifa said: "The Fifa single judge ruled that Javier Mascherano is eligible to play in official matches with Liverpool with immediate effect." Interview: Fifa spokesman Andreas Herren In the statement Fifa explained its ruling was determined partly because the South American and European seasons overlap. A Liverpool spokesman confirmed: "Fifa has confirmed the player is entitled to play for Liverpool. "However, the move from West Ham still needs to be ratified by the Premier League - and we await their decision." Mascherano arrived at Upton Park with international team-mate Carlos Tevez on 31 August. But he has played only six minutes since the defeat at Tottenham on 22 October and had been desperate to leave the club.
Gribz 850
Cant say im dissapointed about Mascherano leaving. He hasnt kicked a ball. We'll see how he does at Liverpool. Curbishley signed another defender - Upson, to make it 3 centre halfs in january. He now has about 7 centre halfs for the second half of the season so id expect an improvement at the back for West Ham. No excuses now that we "should" we winning games.
