BEARGER 1,830
Richard Gough Joins the RST "The RST is delighted to announce that Richard Gough has agreed to join the RST as a Life Member and contribute to Buy Rangers. The iconic Nine-In-A-Row captain has joined up to back the fans in their fight for the club ahead of a crucial upcoming EGM to oust the current board. Richard is the latest high profile star to join the RST after Olympian and Commonwealth medallist, Lynsey Sharp, joined last week. We hope his move will see even more fans sign up to the RST and Buy Rangers. Richard said "It's vital the fans get together ahead of a crucial few weeks for the club and I'm happy to help." Gordon Dinnie, RST Chairman said "Richard is obviously a hugely respected figure to Rangers fans. We are delighted he has backed the RST and our aims to secure the club and see the fans play a greater role going forward. We have recently been focussed on trying to ensure that Ibrox remains under the control of the club as well as increasing our shareholding ahead of the upcoming AGM and that fight will continue." "We have seen a huge increase in membership and contributions to Buy Rangers over the past week and now have over 4000 members in our ranks. With continued support we believe we can help to ensure the upcoming EGM sees the club in good hands." "We would appeal to fans once again to join us and follow Richard's lead. It is imperative that the current board is removed at the upcoming EGM and we are seeing hundreds of fans joining on a daily basis to try to make that happen. Long may it continue."" - See more at: http://www.therst.co.uk/news/richard-gough-joins-the-rst/#sthash.h2GXzpWB.dpuf

Tannochsidebear 2,405
Great news that more and more former players are joining BR/RF or both. This can only help both vehicles with credibility and marketing opportunities and hopefully see recent massive increases in member numbers in both continue apace.

If so, any idea what sort of numbers we are looking at?
the gunslinger 3,366
must be becoming harder to get shares no?
Tannochsidebear 2,405
Not sure GS, perhaps some of the larger independent holders wouldn't mind offloading dribs and drabs at 25p considering they will no doubt fall in value again if Ashley wins EGM.

They will be buying but I have no idea how many shares we are looking at - looks like it will be quite a few
